Additional Highlights
I am incredibly humbled to have 5 of my painting images included in the Lunar Codex Moon Project (NASA/SpaceX/Intuitive Machines). Over 40,000 artists, musicians, poets, writers, filmmakers, and photographers had their art included in Moon lander missions. Mine was included in the Peregrine collection NASA CLPS TO2-AB mission
I am the newest member of the international Guild of Motoring Artists. I’m absolutely thrilled to be part of an organization that includes some of the most amazing automotive artists in the world!
I was invited to become a member of the international Women Automotive Network (W.A.N.). As an automotive artist, I was delighted to be included among women CEOs, business owners, journalists from all over the world. W.A.N. had their first US summit in Detroit, and I flew there to be part of the 450 member event. I posted about the membership and trip on LinkedIn, and the amazing docent of the Henry Ford Museum reached out for a private tour of the museum in Dearborn, MI. It was such a treat to see the Ford GT #68 again (I photographed it at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2016 to later paint), and to see my former high school classmate, Ken Block, Gymkana rally car. Ken passed in 2023, and will forever be missed.
A Final Year-End Note from Shan:
I want to thank my collectors, galleries, media connections, followers, and fellow artists for the kind words and encouragement you have shown me in my 9 years as a professional artist. I truly love my job as a realist vehicle artist, and learn with each piece I create. I thank you all and wish you a magnificent 2025 filled with love, laughter, and beautiful art.
All the best,
Shan
