Pardon My Rust - Rusty Karmann Ghia Hood and Emblem

Talk about Patina! I just adored the colors of this rusty Karmann Ghia. A car that was well ahead of its time in design. She was once turquoise, but time have given her an even more vivid figure. I just adored working with the blues and brown palettes. 

This is a smaller 12"x12"x1.5" painting that was created solely for the Abend Gallery Los Angeles Art  Show January 2022, and is available for presale. The painting comes with a Letter of Authenticity and soft portfolio book for my collector. 

My paintings are created in the finest Liquitex and/or Golden acrylic paints and varnished 3x with UV/UVA varnish to lock in their color.
