In the summer of 2019, my husband and I took a trip to Los Angeles to take reference photos. Two highlights of our trip were the Lyon's Air Museum (which I've done 2 paintings from HERE and HERE), Petersen Museum (multiple award winning painting HERE) and a large car show. I saw this gorgeous Alfa Romeo parked on the side of that car show, and instantly fell in love with her. The reflections of the eucalyptus trees in her windshield, the racing dot on her hood waiting for her number to be applied, her iconic grill, and that red/yellow color balance were perfection. 

We snapped photos of many vehicles at the show. One was my Toyoto Land Cruiser (now in a collection), this gorgeous Alfa, and several others that I want to bring to life on canvas in 2025. As I often say: "So many gorgeous vehicles, so little time to paint them all".
