1967 Volkswagen Samba Bus
Although I love all over my paintings for different reasons, there are some that seem to have a bit of my personality painted into them. My red Chevrolet Truck and this Volkswagen Samba bus both fit that category. They are realistic to a point, and then have a bit of quirky charm thrown in to make them fun.
This adorable vehicle is one of my all time favorites. So many of us have seen them and think of road trips, camping under the stars, attending a rock concert, or sitting next to a fire on the beach. I wanted my Samba to be ready to drive off the canvas to go on the next great adventure.
I enjoyed this painting immensely, and hope it brings a smile to the faces of all that see it.
