1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stinger - Sunfire Yellow

Where I am in Central Texas (Austin), the Chevrolet Corvette community is quite large. Go to a local car event, and you will see several different models of Corvettes to admire. 

I saw this lovely lady during one of the few car shows I could attend in 2021. Unfortunately, most of her bodywork was in shadow, so I snapped a quick photo of her hood with the iconic Stinger. It may be difficult to tell from this photo, but the Stinger area isn't in black (due to the blue sky and surrounding trees that day). I used gray, cobalt, prussian blue, pthalo green, and olive drab in the Stinger colors. As there wasn't much reflected in the body, I had to go with shading and color. Quite a challenge!

This is a smaller 12"x12"x1.5" painting that was created solely for the Abend Gallery Los Angeles Art  Show January 2022, and is available for presale. The painting comes with a Letter of Authenticity and soft portfolio book for my collector. 

My paintings are created in the finest Liquitex and/or Golden acrylic paints and varnished 3x with UV/UVA varnish to lock in their color.
