1944 T6 Texan World War II Era Airplane

We saw this beautiful lady during an annual car event. The show was on an old airstrip and this girl grabbed my eye as soon as I saw her. What a striking image she made against the cerulean sky. A perfect balance of color for the artist color wheel! I grabbed my husband and said: “Photograph THAT! It will make a great painting.” He was apprehensive, but took the photos for me. Now he says this is one of his favorite paintings.
